Heaven on Earth

to err is human; to blame it on someone else is politics

After much thinking I have come to the conclusion that the goal of liberals is to legislate heaven-on-earth. To a follower of Jesus and student of the Bible, such as myself, this is already known to be a fantasy.

Any complex system relies upon its initial set of conditions for what follows after it. Any student of science and math knows this. So can this concept be applied to the condition of the human mind? I contend that it must. Our minds are a combination of predetermined possibility and experiential knowledge (Aristotle). If the systems of man rely upon the experiential knowledge of our ancestors than any lie or untruth inserted into the accumulation of truth passed from generation to generation will throw the system into failure. This is precisely what Genesis tells me occurred with the first humans. In order to correct this first failure we either need a time machine, a reboot to reality, or a guide from outside the failed system to correct errors. Since the time machine is science fiction or more appropriately, science fantasy, then we can throw that option out. That leaves us with the guide and the reboot as options. It is my contention that we need both and God has already accomplished the guide option.

So if we have the guide...why no heaven-on-earth? That's because the reboot of reality is still needed. Any legislation from flawed minds imposed upon flawed minds cannot overcome mans CHOICE to listen to the guide that God provides. Flawed minds legislating Heaven will result in hell-on-earth. Therefore the goal isn't to regulate until utopia is established but rather to preserve mans ability to CHOOSE to follow the guide God provided.

From what I can tell it's about $8000 to have a compressed natural gas station adjacent to my garage. The Honda Civic NGV (natural gas vehicle) is at $26,000 msrp. With 7.8 gallons of CNG capacity the Civic NGV should have a range of 280 miles (at 36 mpg average).

Driving 15,000 miles per year at 30 mpg equals 500 gallons of gasoline per year. If I wanted the installation ($8000) to pay off after two years then ($8000 / 2 = $4000; $4000 / 500 gallons per year = $8 per gallon for gasoline) gasoline would need to be $8 per gallon. A four year payoff would require gasoline stay above $4 per gallon for 4 years.

Of course I haven't accounted for the cost of natural gas.
I wouldn't do it for the cost. I'd do it because gasoline funds Venezuela, Iran, and Lybia.
